Information for Research Students

The Creative Industries Faculty offers a comprehensive suite of research and coursework degrees to meet a wide diversity of postgraduate study needs. The degrees include PhD, masters programs, honours and postgraduate coursework programs.

Research higher degrees involve a sustained, scholarly research study under the expert supervision of academic staff.

Coursework degrees are for those who wish to undertake postgraduate study for professional or personal development. The Creative Industries Faculty has refreshed its coursework programs for 2010 to embed the latest in global thinking about the creative industries and provide access to the most up-to-date and relevant professional and creative practice.

How to apply

Research applicants apply directly to the University. For more information visit the QUT Research Students Centre website. Students who wish to apply for Honours must complete a Creative Industries Faculty Honours Application Form, in addition to the university's PG form.
