vacation research experience scholarshipVacation Research Experience Scholarships provide current undergraduate students with the opportunity to experience life as a researcher by working with faculty research staff during their summer break. The scholarship provides contact with active researchers and offers an environment in which students will challenge themselves academically. The scheme is a unique opportunity for students to demonstrate to others their potential for research work. To be eligible for consideration for a Vacation Research Experience Scholarship, students must be enrolled in the third or fourth year of a full-time course. Outstanding students who have completed two years of full-time study and who are intending to go on to an honours course will also be considered. Scholarships are highly competitive and priority will be given to students who are seriously considering undertaking postgraduate research study. Applications close in October each year.
