Adrian Scott, Department of Primary Industries & Fisheries Rural Journalism Scholarship

The Adrian Scott and DPI&F Rural Journalism Scholarship is a joint initiative funded by QUT, the Adrian Scott Trust and the Department of Primary Industries & Fisheries (DPI&F).

The scholarship endowment was established to provide support to postgraduate journalism students undertaking a Masters by Research in an area of interest and relevance to rural communities.

It provides a bursary of $10 000 in support of full-time study. To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled in the Master of Arts (Research) in the Creative Industries Faculty. Support for part-time study is available on a pro-rata basis.

How to apply
Applicants must complete the University’s Postgraduate research application for domestic students form. Section 9 of the form should be marked Adrian Scott/DPI&F. Guidelines to assist applicants on completing the form are also available from the same sources. Deadline for applications is 25 January 2008.
