how to apply - international students

I am an overseas (international) student – how do I apply?
If you are applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program, you should complete a QUT F Form. If you are applying for a research course, you should complete a FR Form. Information on completing your application is available from the QUT International office.

If you are studying Year 12 in Queensland, you can apply for undergraduate courses directly to QUT or through the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC). Conditional offers will be made from International Student Business Services prior to the end of the school year.

Many undergraduate courses offered by the Creative Industries Faculty are specialised programs which develop your creative and technical skills. Because of the specialist nature of these courses, you are required to demonstrate your abilities and potential to succeed in the course through meeting Additional Entry Requirements. The process for submitting Additional Entry Requirements is further to the normal application procedures.

The Creative Industries courses for which there are Additional Entry Requirements are:

• Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting)
• Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance Performance) including the dual degree with Education
• Bachelor of Fine Arts (Fashion)
• Bachelor of Fine Arts (Sound Design)
• Bachelor of Fine Arts (Technical Production)
• Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts) including the dual degree with Education
• Bachelor of Music including the dual degree with Education

Double degrees for which there are Additional Entry Requirements are:

• Bachelor of Fine Arts (Fashion) and the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts) which are offered as a double degree with Business
